Rendering and Device Contexts

Hi, Are the OGL rendering and device contexts specific to each window I create. I need to do some calculations based on imaging methods. But I don't need those rendering to appear on my screen. I know that I can use pbuffers but it has only Front and Back buffers. I need more than 2 buffers. Can I create a new window and do the rendering to that window? If so, how should I do it. Can I make this other window invisible while I am doing the rendering? Thanks Sriram
