Missing "d3dframe.lib"

Okay then, here's my problem. I just started looking at the tutorials that you get with the DX9SDK and I can't compile because of unresolved symbols: Direct3DCreate9 and the main function. So, I made sure that I was linking with all the correct dx libraries except that even though, my compiler (VC++) says that it is an option, when I include it in the Object/library modules text box, it comes up with a message that it can't open the file "d3dframe.lib". And I thought "That's strange, shouldn't it have be in the DXSDK folder?", so I had a look and, lo and behold.... it wasn't there. I searched my harddrive for it, but nothing. (and that's the story :D) Can anyone think of anything I could do to scare my computer and make it work? :D
