This is how I think 3D fractals can be made. The idea is to build basic shape first (geosphere in this case). Then, on each edge recursively (like in usual 2D fractals) simple primitives are drawn. After experimenting for a little while with geospere detalisation, primitives shape, recursion depth I received these images. Take the source code and play with it, if you receive smth interesting, I will whith pleassure publish it here. www.glplanet3d.newmail.ru go to OpenGL page and download the latest demo

I like the demo. I don't like your website, though, forcing me to use that POS browser IE.

Seconded

Cool demo and cool website (I have to use IE for some ActiveX controls I use at work and find it easier to just use one browser).

Your site barely works even under IE (half the images never load, and I wait 30+ seconds for page transitions to happen).

Once I downloaded the RAR archives, they were empty. Yeah... a 480 kB RAR archive that has no files in it.

Very nice demo(s)!

And not that much CPU intensive at all (apart for WinApp1).
Maybe a zoom function for a later version?
Like you see with 2D fractal programs.

About your site:
I've managed to "hack" my way around your site under Firefox (it was fun!).
I did notice that you used \ instead of / at the your links and images (only the last one).

If you do some research on google you will notice more ways to accomplish 3d fractals and even higher dimension ones such as 4d.

For god sake's fix your website man!
Had to open it with IE and then it crashed IE twice.
And IE refused to download a complete RAR archive. It always truncated the file.

Tried to get the demos using WGET, it only received some odd russian-language webpage...
