I have this assembly code in a function: movaps xmm0, [ebp+0x14] It compile with non error, but when I execute it, I have this alert: Unhandle exception in rbTested.exe: 0xC0000096: Privileged instruction. How can I pass over this thing ?? Do I have to autorise something ?? P.S.: execute my english...

Check the assembler output of your compiler.
Does it generate proper (16byte) stack alignment before the call ?
Do you pass the number by value to your function ?
Maybe the compiler does not know about the fact that you need 16byte alignment.

Then it's definately an alignment issue: the MOVEUPS is simply the unaligned version of MOVAPS. Always try use MOVAPS over MOVUPS, since aligned data will be faster than unaligned data. You'd only use MOVUPS when you don't have control over the alignment (like when you're using someone else's data for example).
