I'm looking for any alternatives to DirectInput (I have googled). I know some libraries address input (such as GLFW and SDL) but I don't need or want to use them, I have graphics and sound covered, I just want an input library. Any suggestions?

Allegro has a direct input wrapper.

Allegro is also much more than a directinput wrapper, so i guess he doesn't want that.
