Hiya, wondered if anyone had any sugestions on how to draw a comet, its managed to draw a planet using a sphere and filling it in with apporpiate texture. And it spins around the earth :-D hmmm not sure where to start? its like a sphere but its not is it its bumpy. Im new to all this and it's kinda fun... there is so much to learn.

use a particle system (the comets head will be the particle emiter)

indeed. a nice example of a comet using a particle engine can be found at nehe.
