opengl resolutions

hi, just starting a new project in opengl (space invaders clone) and was just wondering how hard it is to change the resolution in a game using opengl (so that all the aspect ratio's stay the same) is it just a case of changing the zoom and perspective settings for each resolution or do you need to design the textures in a certain way to support different resolutions? basically if i want the game to be able to run in different resolutions with the same aspect ratios do i need to look into it now and design the game around this or can i just add support for this in the future by changing perspective etc?

You can configure your perspective using gluPerspective() and simply pass it your parameters. It's a pretty simple thing.

However, beware that on windows you lose your OpenGL context on changing the video mode.
