x-file: how to export animations of character's face

Hi, I not an expert game programmer. I have some characters in my simple game. They are skinned meshes (I use 3ds max4 with Character Studio to model, animate and export them as x-files). Now I would like to animate the characters faces. The characters should move the body and the face together. The code sample from DX SDK to read animations from x-files seem to be limited... so the only way I thought to make that is using some "CS biped parts" to animate mouth, brow, eyes... Please, does anybody know another technique to make that? Thanks in advance
