Hey, I've read that Influence maps(IM's) are a popular technique for terrain analysis, but I've also read that it's better to use multilayered IMs because of memory issues. I've never heard of multilayered IMs, so can someone explain me what they do, and how they work? Are there other usefull terrain analysis techniques? greetz
