Exporting .X mesh from Character Studio

Hi, I am using D3DX for skinned meshes, much like the SDK sample. I need meshes to be in .X format though, but the artist I'm working with says it's not an option with the tool he is using (Character Studio, a plugin for 3dsmax). So, does anyone know how to get skeletal animations created w/ Character Studio into .X format? Thanks, roos

Step one. RTFM
Step two. Uninstall your pirated copy.
Step three. It's a group of modifiers, not an application. On the modifier stack, there are two Character studio objects. Biped, and Physique.

The DirectX exporter that comes with the DirectX SDK exports from Character Studio just fine. In fact, I had to re-code it to use the more modern ISkin interface, rather than just use Character Studio.
