Basically, I want to know if anyone has done this and does it work? I have Microsoft Visual C++ .Net Standard installed, and I installed the Visual C++ Toolkit 2003 to have the Optimizing Compiler and Linker. I want to install the MSVC 2005 Express thing, use the source, headers, and libraries that came with MSVC .Net (since MSVC 2005 does not have them) and use the Toolkit for the compiler. Anyone ever do this? Will this work? EDIT: I want the 2005 one for the IDE.

I think the Express version expires soon. Real soon. Feliz Navidad!

When it expires, can I no long download it? Or can I no longer use it on my computer?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't expire until March 2005 but I could be wrong, and it makes it so you can no longer use it on your computer when it expires.
