I would like to know how to convert 3ds max format which .max to .obj
Please let me know... Thank you
you will need to purchase 3dmax. Which is usually out of the question. Or get a friend who owns it to convert the file for you.

let say I have milkshape software, but how to convert .max to obj...
If i am using 3d max studio, how to change it to .obj format or .asc format.
If i am using 3d max studio, how to change it to .obj format or .asc format.
Export the file to a .3ds format from 3d studio (or gmax) . Then import that file into milkshape. Then export that file to an obj.

Thanks llvllatrix... One more thing... how to convert back the .obj to .max so that the 3D max studio can read the format..
Import the obj into Milkshape, export to 3ds and then import into max.
