Hey, I"m building a win32 API based chat. I have designed my dialog to have all the buttons and text field requiered for the chat. The function taking car of the dialog is ClientProc and i call it : DialogBox(hInst, (LPCTSTR)IDD_CLIENT, hWnd, (DLGPROC)ClientProc); My problem is that when from i call the DialogBox func, it oppens my dialog and wont proceed to the windows message loop where i wanted my chat to listen for a socket. How can I make the DialogBox be asynchronic, like a thread ? Thanks in advance :)

I'm new to this as well, but you could check out CreateDialog, which creates a non-modal dialog box, as compared to DialogBox which makes it modal.
