[.net] Networking with .NET

Hello. I'm having trouble figuring out how to send object data over a network. I have a Socket connection established, but using Sockets directly requires me to get byte info on all the objects I wish to send. Is there a higher-level way to send objects as whole units over an already-established socket connection?

You can make a NetworkStream on your socket then serialize to/from that stream or create a BinaryWriter/BinaryReader on the network stream. Basicaly you just treat the network stream like a file.
