I'm getting into a game engine called "Panda3D". I cant seem to find any tutorialas and the documentation is incomplete (partly). Anyone familar with it, or know where I can find tutorials? And as far as python, does anyone know of any good python editors besides one python comes with? Maybe even add-on debuggers that are a little more... Direct. And my last question: How do I get the FFTW and Freetype working with Panda3D? http://www.etc.cmu.edu/panda3d/manual/index.php?page=source_thirdparty

$$$$ - Wing IDE
$$$$ - Komodo
$$$$ - Visual Python
Free - Boa Constructor
Free - Eclipse (Java editor, there surely is a python module)
Free - PyCrust/PyALaMode (with wxPython)
Free - Pythonwin (with pywin32)

Free - HAP debugger

All should just be a google search away :)

Thanks!

Which one would you recommend most?

I tried Visual Python, but it says I need the win32com extensions.... I installed them and it keeps telling me that... Oh well

Tried pythonwin.... it freezes when I try to run my code.

I tried them all, except for Visual Python and Wing IDE, as well as a couple more I can't remember, and eventually went back to just using IDLE and Kate (KDE advanced text editor). Sorry [grin].

I even prefer Gnome, but I still keep KDE around to get Kate. I've yet to find its equal.
