Devcpp Dirextx/directdraw/2d devpack questions...
Hi there !
I've been wondering if there is a directx 9 devpack in
development for devcpp ...
Also , if i use Directx8/9 devpack , do i have to install the directx 8/9 sdk
from microsoft first/after it/at all ?
Can i still use the directx7 sdk documentation for directdraw ?
Is this documentation still "current" , i.e , is DX8/9 sdk/devpack fully backwards compatible ?
My target development is a 2d tetris like game .
Sorry for the massive question attack , but since they all related
to eachother , i figured that i could ask them at once :)

DevCpp has a DirectX Package if you go under Tools->Check for updates/Packages
You can use the libs from it to compile DX code, atleast I do and it works fine.
The documentatition for DirectDraw should be fine, it still uses DirectDraw7
