What is this picture control you can add to a window in Win32? I am looking for a way to load textures into a small box and display them? Thanks

If you need to display a bitmap loaded by the Win32 API (so that you have a HBITMAP representing your bitmap), then you need to create a static control with the SS_BITMAP style. You then need to specify an image for the control to display. You can do this by sending the control the STM_SETIMAGE message. The WPARAM would be et to the constant 'IMAGE_BITMAP' and the LPARAM would be the handle to the bitmap that you wish to display. Details of these can be found in the Platform SDK Documentation.

If you wish to display a custom image that has not been loaded using Win32 API (for example, if you have raw pixel data), then your best bet would be to create an owner-drawn control.
