a silly question about model parsing

Heya I'm working on a project where I have to parse and display a certain model format. There is a rather annoying problem with the specification of those files though. Quite often vertices of polygons are specified in the wrong order, so I end up with large holes in my models. So I was wondering if there's a way to make OGL ignore the order of the vertices as well. And if not, what other options do I have besides drawing everything twice in the opposite order? cheers, wim

out of curiosity, what format? :-D and also, wheres docs for it (searchin around for a good format, using md2 currently)
