I'm heading up a small project that is creating a simple, multiplayer game for the experience of doing so, and it seems that we've hit a snag. I was hoping I Could get some input from you guys :) We have a need to know how long a song lasts, but it seems that SDL_mixer doesn't make this readily available. Has anyone ever tackled this problem, or have any idea on how it would be done? I keep thinking that we could interpolate it somehow, but I don't know enough about the internals of SDL_mixer myself, so I'd really appreciate any input on this, thanks :) The reason that we're needing this info is for queing the next track, and fading purposes. --- And yes Braveo, this is the real me talking this time. - Orestes You're posting on a messageboard...

Both the Ogg and MP3 Codecs have metadata, somewhere in their libs there should be a way of getting it.
