GetTextExtentPoint32 error with DC

Hi all, i can't have this snipped working right. It seems that font->Getdc() returns an invalid handle. I have also noticed that in vc 7 when I type "font->" i don't have Getdc() in the helper list... since I have the october release of Directx. LPSIZE CHudStaticText::GetStringSize() { LPSIZE size = 0; GetTextExtentPoint32(font->Getdc(), content.c_str(), content.size(), size); return size; } Where font is a d3dfont content is a std::string [Edited by - j0hn on January 7, 2005 10:14:44 AM]
