How does RenderMonkey integrate with a game app? I read something about it saving the effect files in XML, but should my game parse the XML file, and somehow obtain and set all the variables in the constant table? Also, should I even be using RenderMonkey? It seems like a more complicated process then simply writing an effect file and shader files.
