Install Visual C++ .NET 2003 on 64 bit?

Hi everybody,
my friend got an AMD64 and installed the win64 beta on this system. When he tries to install MS Visual C++ .NET 2003 he gets an error describing that it can't be installed on win64??
Can anybody please help to fix that problem?!
Stefan, I believe the solution is to:
1) Navigate to the install folder on the CD Rom drive via Explorer (right click on drive icon and click Explore).
2) Manually install the setup files by opening the .MSI files one by one (i think there are 4 or 5 of them).
3) Install to the required folder on the hard disk.
At least, I think that's the procedure.
