Okay, I'm messing around with an Polygon class for an editor. So, I was wondering, what is the best way to keep track of the vertexes, considering that you'll be able to click on one and change its position and all? I was thinking that I could have function that takes a 3d position and finds the vertex at that point and then changes its position. But, then I thought about some of the other 3d editors I've seen. You can have two vertexes at the same point in 3d space. So I thought about having a map<int,Vertex3d> object and each vertex having its own id. But, would a map object be too slow when iterating through to use in an editor? Or, in a game?
