What language are you using? Are you be using any external tools or libraries?

You could, for example, use MAPI on windows to do this. Another solution is to hook directly up to sockets and send mail via SMTP, it's a text-based protocol and is fairly simple. You could probably even find a simple SMTP library to link with to save you having to do the work.

Using a .net language (c#,VB.Net,MC++) then sending an e-mail is really easy. If your using unmanaged c++ then you can always set up a gcroot<> to point to a managed object, if your happy with having the dependancy on the .net framework. Maybe you could use a link-label with an e-mail address in - this should launch the default mail client if your happy for the end-user to have to send the message manually.

If you want to find out more about the 1st 2 options then post back here and I'll dig out some code for you.

Neil
