Can i create .x file by myself?

i 'm confusing with some topic 1.we can use 3DSMax(Maya,Milkshape or truespace) to create 3D model and convert it to .x file,can't we? 2."parsing" is a function for load .x file right? 3.What website can i find complete .x files if i can't create it by myself now? 4.Do you create your own .x file? by what's program?

.x file format can be saved by some 3D packages but you will struggle to find any models in the format itself. Rather you have to load them into a package and convert them. You can save in .x yourself if you write the DX code for it.

download the pandaX exporter and export from max, or obtain a copy of conv3ds.exe from the msn site.

( probably best to use the pandaX exporter )
