linking uml and c++

Hi all, i'm new to uml diagrams and i d'like to know if the following is correct: composition is used when class1 has a member to class2 and class2 is deleted by class 1 aggreggation is used when class1 has a member to class2 and there is a whole/part relation association is used when class1 has a member to class2 dependency is used when class1 is dependent of class2 by a function parameter ex: class1::do(class2 var) We can find all this kinds of dependencies in our .h files. There can exist some extra dependencies in our cpp files like this: class1::do1() { cAdapter *adapter = engine->getAdapter(); } or class1::do2() { cAdapter adapter; } Now class1 is dependent from cAdapter in the cpp file. this is not seen in the class diagram.Is this correct? thx in advance [Edited by - Freaker13 on January 19, 2005 6:02:16 AM]
