What do you guys look for in an RPG?

I'm just curious because I'm documenting one, and I want it to be as fun as possible. Even though my team has a huge background in RPGs, I want to know if ours match to your wants in such a game. We'll be considering your ideas as well. Setting is medieval-fantasy, btw.

If the game can make me care about my toon, I like it... otherwise I dont.. easier said then done though!

Humour is very important in my opinion but you also need a few good sad bits.

Vandalize cities, torture cats and dogs, throw rocks at adults, break windows, run from pissed security officers, play knights and villains with your friends, make fun of girls, and cry when something bad happens at you.
