Hi, does anyone know, how can I generate random texture, for eg. with smooth color fade. ...but nothing like this: tex = RGB(rand(), rand(), rand()); Thnx. Dave007 dave007@volny.cz

You could use matematical expressions based on four or 16 (or more) near pixels of the image.
ANd blend the new pixel..
or you could use a fractal generated texture with random params several times on another blending them...

Or you could generate a texture with random colors (not tooo random... ) and then a blur (convolve i don''t know how to say...) on it to fade colors.

For a texture with only color fade... you could create a spatial filler that fills textures from a starting point (could be random...) and a starting color to the totally blended color (e.g. 0,0,0)....
