Hi, I am testing applets with html. But when I recompile the .class applet, it still uses the older version of the class, even though the class file has been updated. This is getting really annoying, as I have to make a new directory to copy the .class and html file into to test it, as that for some reason uses the updated class file. Any idea why its doing this? Thanks

As it is with Applets, the applet viewer and browser implementations differ. So the applet viewer is basically useless.

johnnyBravo: Make sure to shut down all browser instances. Usually the applet get's discarded only then. And if it starts up with the old instance, try Shift-Reload (or Ctrl-Reload). This should bypass the cache of the browser.
