This is an OpenGL newbie question, so I know some will be able to answer it. I''m new to OpenGL, I''ve of course figured out how to move triangles and the like arounr, but texturing is kind of a problem. I want to load a texture without using Glaux of Glut, and I have no idea how to do it. Btw, I mean load as in from a file, bitmap, jpeg, raw, any basic file format . Yes, I already looked through the Red Book without finding an example, and NeHe uses glaux. Thanks in Advance. My signature better be working again...
