colors for quads of cube don't work

Hi. I have a rotating cube on my screen and I loaded a texture on all the quads and it works fine, I also defined a color to every quad using the D3DCOLOR_COLORVALUE macro, the problem is when I remove the texture and I want to see only the colors on the quads they appear to be like transparent, I mean they are not been displayed like they supposed to be (they are not solid) it's like I can see the inside of the cube, I tought maybe it is related to the SetRenderState() method.. or something like that, any ideas ?? Thanks.
