When trying to load an example from a book, I am left with the following error even though I have d3dutil.cpp and d3dutil.h (as well as the rest of the example framework from summber 2003 SDK) included in my project: c:\Documents and Settings\Train\Desktop\School\CS360\Lab03\Main.cpp(212): error C2065: 'D3DUtil_InitMaterial' : undeclared identifier I don't even see that function in either of those files... It's a macro that's defined in one of the common files of the sample framework - IIRC, d3dutil.h. Open d3dutil.h and look for it, if you don't find it, write a replacement (it's simple, it just wrote the diffuse and ambient components of a material and zeroes everything else, IIRC)
