Perhaps. Google wasn't useful in varifying. Was either COBOL or an early version of FORTRAN? I haven't used COBOL in forever and I've never used FORTRAN. Anyone know?

I thought everything was global in COBOL? Or maybe not, I'v never had the desire to research the language!
