I've found this page by an acidennt and thought it might be useful for those who are undecided about the language to use..

What do you think about that Java 1.4.2 almost gained the same score as VC++? (except trigonometry)
And if you know any other unbiased benchmark results (more representative) I'd appreciate a link. Thanks.
As had been discussed when it first was published, that's really a naive benchmark.

Well, as I said, I just encountered it accidentally, so I wanted to know your opinions about that one. ;)
And as for what do I mean by "unbiased", well a really representative benchmark test, not sponsored by any company that might benefit of it (MS, Sun, etc..).
Do you know any?

Maybe I'm interweb challenged but I can't find the actual code they ran the benchmark on. I want to see exactly what IO they used.
