Ok from what I have looked on LERP its Linear Interpolation? And what I have seen it almost looks like the formula to finding the slope of a line??? I am asking what is the formula for LERP? I see this called in some tutorials and not sure what the formula is. y2-y1 ----- x2-x1 Is that it? Thanks for any help..

that's the slop of a line equation. For linear interpolation you want to get the intepolated value between two other values for a given time. Say it takes 1 second to go from a to b. Then if you knew a and b and wanted to know where you'd be at in 0.37 of a second, you can use linear interpolation like htis:

newValue = a + (b-a) * s

Where s is the time between 0 and 1.
