Hi, I've got my hands on the latest DDK and I'm trying to program a driver which will simply respond to my app sending IOCTLs to it with information regarding.. keyup/down and mouse movement (absolute) and mousedown/up. I looked at a few examples and the explanations are just confusing me more. I realize that I need to send the IOCTLs to the i8042prt driver with the writebuffer messages for mouse/keyboard but I can't seem to get the IRP to contain "valid" information.. I used IoGetDeviceObjectPointer, created the IRP and then use IoCallDevice or whatever function it is, but I have no idea what data I'm supposed to be sending as the parameters; The DDK docs don't really give any clear information. In case you missed my goal, I'd like to use this to help my macro application inject mouse/keybd events at the driver level. Could anyone point me out to some decent documentation? Or perhaps even supply some C source for a driver to do what I'm looking for? Thanks for your time.
