getting an m_hWnd from the D3DApplication class

Where does the mouse function exist? If it exists in its own class (like an InputClass), simply pass the HWND at the contruction of the InputClass and hold it in the class as a pointer member variable. Then use as need be.

Can you be a bit more specific as to what you need?
