CD3DFont w/ Latest DirectX 9 (spring 2004) Q

I started playing around with the CD3DFont class and I have one rather major question. Where are the d3dfont.h, d3dfont.cpp, d3dutil.h and d3dutil.cpp stored with the new spring directx release. I know they used to be in Samples\C++\Common but they aren't there. A quick search of my computer couldn't find them at all. Did they change the file names needed for CD3DFont with the latest release?

lol, sorry i meant winter 2004 specifically december, that means i need to go to bed now. he he

thanks for any advice on this.

i've read that it's not included because they're prepping for avalon or something, but if that's the case, a side from creating my own font class what is there?

It's not included because D3DXFont does everything it did and more.
