I was just wondering if there were any good DirectX tutorials around for someone just starting. I know NeHe has good OpenGl stuff....

The DirectX SDK comes with tutorials and documentation (and alot of good sample programs). You can find it on the Microsoft website (its like 240meg download).

Most of what I did is, when I didn't understand a term I googled it and most of the time, the MSDN site came up with specific info.
