Hi all, I'm pretty sure this is one of those simple-if-you-know ones... I've got a cylinder quadratic with a texture map applied to it, that's all fine, but I want to texture to repeat x number of times on the surface. With a normal object made from quads or triangles I'd just map the UV coords so they were way out from the actual corner coords of the texture and thus cause the texture to be repeated. My problem is that because (as I understand it) the coords are automatically generated for quadratic objects I can only seem to map the texture on once. I assume there's a way I can tell the texture to map its coords outside the dimensions of the actual image as I do with normal objects, I jsut can't figure out how.

You can modify the texture matrix. Works the same way as with modelview. If you scale the matrix N times you will repeat the texture N times. This is sometimes used when you apply a detail texture map onto a terrain.
