UML - C++ templates

Recommended Posts

Hello, I've been wondering how UML generalizes to C++ templates? Assume we have something like template <class State, class Action> class Planner { std::list<Action> GetPlan ( const State& initialState, const State& goalState ); }; At the moment I'm using "real classes" for State and Action in UML, and drawing a line (not an association) from them to Planner, stating that it's about templates. But this all seems so ad hoc. I guess this problem has been studied by other people who came up with something more clean and general? -- Mikko
