flipping bitmaps

How do you flip a bitmap I can get LPDIRECTDRAWSURFACE bitmap_surface; int index; bitmap_surface->Lock(NULL,&ddsd,DDLOCK_SURFACEMEMORYPTR|DDLOCK_WAIT); for(index=0;indexbuffer,ddsd.lpSurface,sizeof(ddsd.lPitch)); I dont know what to do now can someone explain?

It looks like the HTML monster got your post, it looks like you are locking your surface to copy the bitmap to it.

Use the lpDDBltFx parameter of the Blt function of the IDirectDrawSurface7 interface to specify mirroring. Otherwise you have to move it a pixel at a time. (0,0) goes to (width-1,0) for a horizontal flip, (0,0) goes to (0,height-1) for a vertical flip.
