GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND.

I copy-pasted "Geomipmapping" from your question into google, and voilá! Lots of links to good stuff. Even a tutorial on flipcode.com (4:th link or something).

There's tons of stuff out there. You just have to take two seconds to look for it. In fact, it'll probably take you longer to post a question here, than to just look for it yourself.

Cheers,
Simon

When I searched google for geomipmapping I just got articles about "Why is this not working with my geomipmapping terrain?" and so on...

I've found the flipcode article you talk about though. Thank you!

There are numerous examples on the net with complete source code.
Here are a few

Geomipmapping is OK, but if you have BIG heightmaps, they don't work very well. The memory requirements are too much (unless you're sitting on an opteron with 8 gigs of ram or something).

Try Geo clipmaps for bigger meshes.
