Alright, well I've been looking through libmad (mpeg audio decoder) lately to find some method of decoding MP3's to uncompressed PCM audio. Now, unfortunately libmad has really poor documentation which comes as a small c implementation. I've read over this several times but I still can't figure out how I'm going to decode a chunk of the MP3. I dealt with OGG before this and it was nicely documented, very simple to work with and easy to use. Now, libmad on the other hand is just a pain. Checking through their messages it seems like people of the community have been thinking of making a documentation but haven't. So I'm hoping someone here has used it before that could send me in the right direction, or at least offer an alternative to libmad. Thanks.
