System Crash :( This week, my Power Supply Unit died. Not only that, but it managed to take out my ATI 9800xt, and both of my hard drives. I lost all of my data. Needless to say, I've spent the last couple days re-installing everything. (02/17/2005)
I saw this, then I saw the sticky had been removed. I don't want to speculate on this, so how much of your data is "all of my data"? Does this mean the end of Direct Mesh 2.0? Or did you (circlesoft) have a backup of that it... Sorry if I missed the thread explaining it; I actually tried to find the (now)unstickied thread to no avail.

All of the critical stuff I had backed up. I have a lot of other important stuff going on right now that takes precedence over DM2, so it is on hold right now anyways. If you don't feel like waiting, or want to design your own animation system, I think the functional spec is a good all-encompasing document that can get you started.

I already have my own system that I made a while ago which I will use for my project; I will just have to add in animations myself I guess. Maybe I will implement DirectMesh later.
