dynamic creation of GUI components(win32)

See I'm building a level editor and I want to be able to access the properties of every object on the screen. I do this by calling a method named getModifiableValues. It returns a list of strings, and then I want to create an edit field for every one of the strings and let the user write stuff to it. Problem is I can't find any func for doing this in the docs.So my first question is: is it possible to do this at all? And if it is: please give me a keyword or something so that I can find it :p Thanks!
