I just upgraded from VB 6 to VB.net and so far it's horrible. I made a newbie program and Xed out my form design view by mistake. I can't find it anywhere now. Is there a button that can bring it back? I have searched the net for an hour to no avail.

In Solution Explorer, click on your form.

At the top of Solution Explorer, on the left side of the Solution Explorer toolbar, are two buttons: Code View and Design View. (Tooltips will pop up to help you tell them apart.)

Click the Design View button.

(EDIT: As an aside, I love VB.NET. I had a hard time making the adjustment at first, but now I never look back.)

I'd say that the worst thing about VB .Net is how frustrating is makes going back to developing on vb6. :)

Also, double clicking the form on the solution explorer brings up the form designer by default.

One difference from vb6 is that you can mess things up if you edit the form type declaration itself - if that's what happened, add a second form to your project and compare code to see what your original form is missing - if you manage to rebuild the form type declaration correctly, the designer should start working correctly again.
