Hi, I was (reasonably) successfully using th summer 04 SDK with VC++6, I just upgraded to the new feb05 SDK and am now getting all sorts of problems mainly - unknown symbol _ftol2 after a bit of searchin I heard about using compiler option /QIfist to suppress ftol calls, but when i put that in the project options, it doesnt even recognise the command. <sigh> ANyone else suffered the same fate? I am looking toi revert to last years SDK at this rate! Thanks Si

Check the Forum FAQ. Visual C++ 6.0 is no longer supported by the DirectX SDK. If you want to continue using VC6, you will have to revert back to the Summer '04 SDK. An alternative would be to "upgrade" to Visual C++ .NET 2003 and integrate the free Visual C++ Toolkit (which includes the optimizing compiler) into that.
