[Managed DirectX] SwapChains

How does SwapChains handle device loss/reset events? I'm trying to design a multiview environment in C# using MDX and swapchains. The swapchain object doesn't have any eventhandling code for loss or reset so is that something that i Have to do myself or does the device take care of that? What about if i resize one of the child windows that has a swapchain attached to it, do i call Dispose on it and then create it over again?

Doing a Quick read in the docs, the swap chains look like they will be handeled by the device reset and lost. I think they are handled the same as back buffers...
