Say Todd, even though my meager skills do not
approach superfriend standards, I would like more
information about what you are proposing. Basically
I have considered teaming with artists and programmers
and I''m curious about what your basic setup plan is.
As background information I will say that I
have worked independently for 2 years on game design
and graphics for a project that is now 6 years out.
I have a prototype for the game that I wrote in an old
language and now I am learning JAVA to do a final version.
The only colaboration is on the music side an excellent
electronic and hip hop artist has agreed to contribute music.
I am trying to talk a friend of mine who does experimental
music to do the midi for me, but I dont think she can be
talked into it.
So, my question is are you going to have artists
send you graphics files? Are you going to hand off your
source to sound people? Or are you looking for concept
sketches?
It''s kind of hard to imagine working with anyone
else until after I get my project finished. So that if
they wondered what I have in mind for a game I could say
"well, take a look."
